What is the difference between PPS and CPA?
PPS is overcoming CPA as the industry standard. Advertisers prefer to pay for quantifiable leads and results whereas CPA continues to face obstacles in delivering direct sales. Traditionally when dealing with PPS, payouts vary based on how close the customer gets to an actual purchase. Joining a mailing list has one price point while an action that leads to a customer adding items in their “shopping cart” ensures greater remuneration. The customer spending habits, and quantity of sales can also determine the amount a Publisher will be compensated.
